Earl (Heptones) Morgan - D. C. Dub Connection (1982)

This is the best dub album you have never heard! Collection of GREAT dubs, some of which were retrieved by Earl Heptones Morgan from the Black Ark Studio just before it closed..Earl put together this compilation of 1970's dubs in 1982 and it quickly went out of print. Some crucial dubs, including 'Party Time', 'Pure Sorrow', 'Storm Clouds', etc. Includes work from Prince Jammy (late 70's), Lee Perry and others mostly mixed by Prince Jammy & Scientist ay King Tubby's. Excellent sound quality. BRILLIANT! The CD includes a massive booklet with a long essay from David Katz. This was originally released 1982 in very limited quantity on the Tele-tech label.
